The historic Wolff Building has stood as part of the town's story since Westcliffe was founded in 1887. Following three decades of devoted restoration, the building began an enchanting new chapter in 2026, when The Wildflower opened its doors as a destination boutique hotel.

Built by Westcliffe pioneer William Wolff the same year the town was incorporated, the Wolff Building was the first hotel in the young mountain community — a rare Romanesque Vernacular stone-front on Colorado's frontier.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 and reborn as The Wildflower nearly 140 years after its founding, the building invites you not simply to visit history, but to stay inside of it.
